Kids Can’t Wait: Community Gathering

Bring your heart, your vision and your voice — and tell us what you feel, what you see and what want. We will explore what has happened in the last three years since the first Kids Can’t Wait. What has improved? What hasn’t? What should happen next? Our goal is to produce a Community Action Plan to guide our collective efforts.

Objectives and Outcomes:

  • Identify how we can improve outcomes for children, youth and their families receiving early years support
  • Explore what families, community allies, and agencies are asking for and how we can collectively support each other in community
  • Determine measures for progress and define success

Financial Support / Scholarship:

Inclusion BC has some funding available to support individuals and families who want to participate at the Kids Can’t Wait Gathering and need extra financial support. In order to support the maximum number of people, we ask that you identify the least expensive options for support and/or transportation.

Background: Building on the 2016 Report
Our 2019 Community Gathering will build on the learnings and experiences since we produced the first 2016 Kids Can’t Wait Report.
