Find Empowerment Through Connection

Everybody Belongs is British Columbia’s biggest learning event for intellectual and developmental disabilities, inclusion, and diversity. Our 45th annual learning event was a fantastic opportunity to connect, share, and get the latest information and resources on inclusion and diversity.

Thank you to everyone that joined us for Everybody Belongs 2024!

Learn About Everybody Belongs 2025

Our conference was open to everyone, including people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, family members, advocates, educators, government representatives, volunteers, disability support workers, and allies of inclusion and diversity.

Nanaimo welcomes you!

Built on the traditional lands of the Snuneymuxw First Nations, Nanaimo offers endless recreational opportunities, has strong healthcare, technology, and construction sectors, and a bustling port.

Scholarships

We had a small number of scholarships each year, available to people experiencing financial barriers. This scholarship covers most costs to attend, including travel and accommodation expenses.

We provide as many scholarships as we can, giving priority to self advocates, family members, and people who haven’t attended one of our annual conferences in the last five years. Scholarship recipients are asked to submit a report after the conference about what was learned.
