Navigating Barriers to Inclusion - Virtual Series

This virtual learning series is an opportunity to deepen your understanding of the rights of persons with disabilities and build confidence in navigating various support systems. Inclusion BC’s Advocacy Team will explore with participants topics including person-centred planning, individualized supports, and common misconceptions about inclusion. We will offer practical advocacy strategies and effective tools to address barriers to inclusion in your community.

This series will also offer opportunities to understand how disability intersects with various aspects of people’s identity. By bringing together people with lived experience and community leaders, the series will create a space to explore the barriers people face, identify systemic challenges, and highlight promising practices that advance inclusion.

Join us for one or more of these learning opportunities.
