Michael Prince appointed as next CLBC chair

Michael J. Prince, the Lansdowne professor of social policy at the University of Victoria, has been appointed chair of Community Living British Columbia (CLBC) by Shane Simpson, Minister of Social Development and Poverty Reduction.

Inclusion BC commends Minister Simpson on the decision to appoint Dr. Michael Prince. Dr. Prince is a long-standing and widely respected policy expert and advocate for social justice and inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities and their families.

Michael Prince is currently a board member of Inclusion BC. As he moves on to his new role, we look forward to working with him and the CLBC Board to build a province where people with intellectual disabilities and their families are included and have the supports they need to live a good life in community.
