Inclusive Community Living So All People With Diversabilities Thrive

Hello, From Nanaimo Association for Community Living

The Nanaimo Association for Community Living supports people with diverse abilities through inclusive programs and services. They create Person-Centred Plans with each person to capture what a meaningful life looks like for them, and what is needed to live that life.

Nanaimo Association for Community Living Services and Supports Include:

  • Staffed homes
  • Home Share
  • Outreach services
  • Actions Day Program
  • Employment services
  • Snoezelen Room

The Snoezelen Room is a space free from the expectation of others and pressures of directed care. People can experience self-directed exploration, relaxation or sensory stimulation, and respond to these new sensations in their own unique way.

The Nanaimo Association for Community Living is accredited by the Commission of Accreditation for Rehabilitation Services.
