The Canadian Federal Election is less than two weeks away on Monday, September 20, 2021.

It’s your right to vote. It’s your right to choose who you feel will best represent you in Canada’s next Government. It’s your responsibility to learn about voting, about the candidates in your riding, and about the issues that are important to you.

We also offer ideas for speaking with the candidates in your riding to find out how they are committed to supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Inclusion Canada has developed several resources to inform voters during the election. Their Federal Election 2021: A Path to Inclusive Recovery shares a list of commitments needed from the parties to ensure people with disabilities have the supports they need to live a fully inclusive life.
