We are thrilled to share that Apostrophe and our Community-Led Collaboration Project received the 2025 Canadian Public Relations Society’s National Award of Excellence in the highly competitive External Communications category!
This award is given to outstanding projects across Canada designed to engage communities and raise awareness of an issue.
The Community-Led Collaboration Project engaged communities across British Columbia to design and host community conversations that offered service providers and families of children and youth with disabilities and support needs an inclusive space to talk about their needs, wants, hopes, and expectations for better services and supports.
The result of these community conversations is twofold: a vision for all children and youth to achieve their fullest potential and thrive in their community and 11 calls to action with specific recommendations to make this vision a reality. You can read them in the Invest in Communities Report.
The provincial partners of the Community-Led Collaboration Project deeply appreciate the professional advise and guidance of Apostrophe PR throughout every stage of this project. In every action and with every communication, we upheld our values of Collaboration, Community-Driven Change, Reconciliation and Decolonizing, and Transparency and Timeliness.
Apostrophe’s Founder & Principal, Marsha D’Angelo, shares, “I’m grateful to the Provincial Working Group’s partnership on this project, to the hundreds of families and community service providers who trusted us with their stories and hopes for the future, and to my amazing team for their hard work and dedication at every step.”
