Building a world where everybody belongs

Successful Online Auction Raises Over $11,760 for Inclusion BC

In an amazing show of solidarity and support, we recently wrapped up our online auction, raising vital funds to support our Community Inclusion Advocacy Program. The response from the community has been nothing short of inspiring, as donors, bidders, and supporters came together to make a positive impact.

The online auction featured many exciting items, ranging from sports and performing arts event tickets and exclusive experiences to gift baskets from local businesses. Each bid placed not only contributed to funding our Community Inclusion Advocacy Program but also highlighted the generosity of our community.

Thanks to the incredible support of our donors, we are thrilled to announce that the online auction raised over $11,760.

This impressive total will directly benefit Inclusion BC’s initiatives and advocacy efforts that support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to thrive.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the numerous businesses and individuals who donated items and experiences to the online auction. Your generosity supports our Advocacy Team to continue their essential work, providing personalized advocacy assistance to ensure people with disabilities are fully included in their communities.

A special shout-out to a few of our donors whose contributions truly showcased the spirit of community support:

To all who participated—whether you donated an item, placed a bid, shared our posts, or spread the word—thank you! Your engagement helped us reach a wider audience and amplify our mission.

Stay connected with Inclusion BC for more events and initiatives ahead, and let’s continue to work together to build a world where everybody belongs.

Thank you for making  Inclusion BC’s first-ever online auction a huge success!

Our approach to advocacy is guided by the United Nations Convention on the Rights of People with Disabilities, which recognizes the full citizenship and human rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Kerridan Dougan, Advocate
