Kyndred Community Living Society

be you, here.

Kyndred is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for people with developmental disabilities and providing ongoing support to their families and friends. During the past year Kyndred provided Community Inclusion, Residential, Family and Employment Services to 227 people throughout South Delta, North Delta and Surrey.

In addition to its core government funded services, Kyndred offers a robust selection of services funded through community donations and grants, including: Studio 19 Art Program, Recreation Program, Life Skills Program and Delta Family Alliance Network.

Kyndred provides active leadership and advocacy for the Community Living movement throughout the Province, shares best practices with other service providers, participates in policy dialogue with government and educates the public about the vital needs of the people we support.

Kyndred is a member of Inclusion BC, a federation working with community living partners throughout the Province to enhance the lives of children, youth and adults with developmental disabilities and their families.

Kyndred has been accredited by the Commission for Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) since 2002. CARF accreditation demonstrates that an organization has met all standards related to the quality of its service.
