2024 Inclusive Housing Snapshot: Cowichan Valley

The Inclusive Housing project was created by Inclusion BC to show the different ways that communities can work together to ensure everyone has a place to call home. Through a partnership with Sparc BC and our membership, we have developed just under 20 community snapshot-style reports to share with local government decision-makers and housing developers.

Each report provides community-level information on housing choices available to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities along with information on local housing market conditions and housing needs.

The conclusion of each report includes the different types of actions that local governments and others can take to ensure that there is an adequate supply of housing to meet the needs of all citizens and that people have access to the opportunities and housing choices they deserve.

We are happy to share our first report produced in partnership with Clements Centre for Families.

The next report from Delta will be available in July with more to come in the Fall.
