Baksho Ghangass

Baksho Ghangass has been involved in the Community Living movement since the birth of her daughter Manjeet in 1986. For the past 10 years, Baksho has served as a Board member for Semiahmoo House Society, The Semiahmoo Foundation, and Peninsula Estates Housing Centre.

She believes that people who have disabilities have the right to live lives of their own choosing in their communities and has supported this through her advocacy and relationship-building. Baksho is an avid hiker and an international volunteer, most recently traveling to Nepal to support a charity working with women and people who have disabilities.
