Ariel (she/her) has been working in the Non-Profit sector as a staff, volunteer, and Board Member/Executive since 2008. Joining the Inclusion BC team as Special Events Coordinator in August 2023, Ariel brings a diverse array of knowledge, skills, and experience along with enthusiasm and positive attitude. Previously, for over 4 years, she was the Provincial Coordinator for BC People First, then worked as the Program Manager and Volunteer Coordinator for Yoga Outreach, and most recently worked with the BC Society of Transition Houses as their Office Administrator. Ariel is experienced in trauma-informed, person-centred practice and holds kindness and community connection at the forefront of all she does. Some of her interests are horseback riding (she competes as an adult amateur in the sport of dressage), dog walking, and picking through thrift stores for fun finds. Additionally, Ariel was a yoga and movement educator for over 20 years and a parent to one amazing daughter who she raised to be an includer, not an excluder.
