More about the Job Fair – for registrants

What is a Virtual Booth?

A virtual booth is like a webpage and can include any digital content, like videos, documents, links to other web-pages, social media links, etc.

For the Job Fair, you will be able to select any employer your like in the Exhibitor Hall. When you enter their booth, the employer receives an alert and has your resume on-hand. You can chat with them in a chat room or by video call. This will depend on how the employer has their booth set up and how you choose to engage.

Before the Job Fair
  • Register early so you can participate in tutorials and watch videos about how the fair works. Registration for the job fair is not separate from the Youth Employment Summit.
  • Give some thought to what you hope to accomplish at the fair. Do you want to learn more about a career, match up with a mentor, or apply for a job?
  • Figure out which companies you want to connect with and learn about them in advance.
  • Prepare a list of questions you want to ask exhibitors

When you register for the fair you can login to find more tips and suggestions, like what kinds of questions to ask employers, what to expect in chat rooms, and more.

If you have any questions, please reach out! Email jbradley@inclusionbc.org.
