LNV offers a variety of services. Listed below is comprehensive list of services we offer our clients. For more information please contact us for more info.

Personal Support Networks

Networks are formed around a person who is isolated or/and lonely. Once formed, a network is a group of 3 or 4 friends who hang out one on one with the person at the center of the Network. Network friends may go to movies, out for dinner, to a concert, hang out at home… its all about the friendship.

Independent Living Support

This is an opportunity to have support designed for your personal needs. It may include coaching around budgeting, grocery shopping, mail and bill paying, money management, organization. The specifics are designed to meet the requirements you need to live successfully and independently in the community.

Best Buddies Program

This program matches a person 18 years or older with a disability, to a current UVIC student. It is an opportunity for friendship to develop and new experiences to be explored.

Being a Citizen Post Secondary Program

Three days per week, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Available in January.

Building Effective One to One Personal Supports

The goal of the personal support program is to increase independence in the community, to increase community connections, and community safety for a person with a disability. This program will address personal goals as determined by the individual and family. A personal coach will provide intentional teaching and support to enable the individual to achieve his goals. read and print the details

Spinoza Bear Program

Spinoza helps the recipient feel good about themselves and to appreciate their unique abilities.

Will & Estate Planning Seminars

From time to time we hold free Will's and Estate Planning seminars. see the Events Page for the next session.

Parent Meetings

Family meetings provide opportunities for parents/caregivers of families with networks to get together. The focus is the support we get and give to each other by exchanging ideas and experiences and also the knowledge gained from invited speakers. Meetings are held approximately every three months.
