October is Community Living Month - Delta Community Living Society is pleased to offer a series of workshops specifically for families with a relative with autism or a developmental disability. These workshops will focus on some of the important things to consider for your loved one as you plan for the future.

Transitions from School to Adulthood:
This event provides families with an introduction to some of the important things families need to be aware of if they have a teenager with a developmental disability who will be leaving high school in the next few years. We will review the systems, processes and paperwork you will need to consider and identify where to access information on-line and help in your community. There will be plenty of opportunity for questions. This workshop is a must for families who have a youth with autism or a developmental disability.

If you would like more information on this workshop contact Si Stainton, Family Services Manager at 604-952-6490 or sstainton@dcls.ca.
