BC Government Announces New Funding to Support Inclusion BC and the BC Aboriginal Network on Disability Society (BCANDS)

Summary: 
The Minister of Social Development and Poverty Reduction, Hon. Shane Simpson, announced today that Inclusion BC and the BC Aboriginal Network on Disability Society (BCANDS) will receive new funding to support their work.

The announcement comes as BC celebrates Accessibility Week

Inclusion BC Executive Director Faith Bodnar responded to the announcement: “We all play a vital part in supporting and empowering people to live good lives in their communities. This funding will help us ensure Inclusion BC is working proactively, and that our support systems are empowered to respond to the needs and hopes of those we serve.”
